The Dutch Government recruiting Interpreters for the Hakka and Zekkien dialects spoken in Borneo and Java, used for many years to send their Cadets first of all to Dutch India for some years, and then to South China. I am informed by the Netherlands Minister, who is at present staying in Hongkong, that the Government of the Netherlands found this system to work very satisfactorily.
